The location is great - just one block from the beach. You can walk for miles on the boardwalk or directly on the sand next to the ocean. I loved the vibrancy of the neighborhood, the buskers on the boardwalk, the music from the restaurants and bars, and the warmth of people all around. The apartment was really clean - one of the cleanest ever. The property is a little older so that level of cleaning was really appreciated. It's nicely laid out as well and the outdoor patio and garden are beautiful and welcoming. There are amazing restaurants, bakeries and cafes within walking distance in Venice and Santa Monica.

Location, location, location. We had a Queen Studio overlooking the beach and boardwalk. The view was spectacular. This hotel is tiny with a small reception staffed by friendly people. It is close to everything. Parking is available in a parking lot at $45/night and the parking lot is right next to the hotel. Downstairs is a fabulous restaurant called Fig Tree with great breakfasts, lunch and dinner. (Making a booking is a good idea , because the place is always busy). The room was spacious and clean, with a kitchen and a nice living room.

Spacious room in the perfect location. 100s of channels on the TV, nice kitchenette with all you need to self cater. The bed was comfy with heaps of pillows. Bathroom was a little dated but clean and a good size with plenty of room for your things. The staff were fantastic and helped with the luggage - there's no lift so you will need to go up 1 or 2 flights of stairs depending on which room you get. I was upgraded to a beach view room that was beautiful. I know I will be staying here next time I'm in LA / Venice

The location is awesome. There is a restaurant below which was so convenient and also very quiet when I was in the room. It was beyond clean and had all I needed, frig, microwave, nice bedding large bathroom. The view out the window to the ocean was really great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We walked to Santa Monica Pier (about 2 miles) and rode in a bicycle taxi back to the room. There was lots to see and do right at your doorstep.

Karen

I had booked this accomodation last minute as our original accomodation cancelled on us the day we were arriving in LA. My son and I agreed that Su Casa was probably better then the other accomodation that had cancelled on us. Staff were very friendly upon arrival and through our stay. We loved the view and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location was great for us as well. We loved the beach view from our room and enjoyed watching the sunsets.
